After releasing two full length albums (2007's 'An Exercise In Futility' and 2010's 'Paradise Is Burning'), as well as performing from Brisbane to St. Kilda and many places in between, Gold Coast singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist David Aurora is currently taking stock of lessons learned along the road and knuckling down in rehearsals for album number three.
Not one for sticking to a particular formula, David regularly jumps between performing as a solo artist clutching an acoustic guitar or bashing a piano, and at other times holding a screaming electric guitar in his hands while fronting his band (currently featuring Daniel Aurora on bass and new drummer Jesse Carroll).
After 2011's 'Stale Observations Tour' to road test the new songs live rather than singing into a 4 track to choose material, 2012 finds David rehearsing the new album with his band in preparation for recording later in the year.
